Your corner of paradise in the Phlegraean fields, one step away from Naples, in Italy.

The Lavinum farmhouse is located in Monte di Procida, in the enchanting setting of the Phlegraean Fields. This area of ​​volcanic origin is located a few kilometers from Naples and was the favorite holiday resort of the ancient Roman nobles thanks to its mild climate, its fertile lands, the fishy sea and the numerous springs of thermal water.

In this magnificent setting you will find the farmhouse with  a vineyard around it, where they produce two excellent wines (Primitivo red and Falanghina white) and there are four beautiful rooms available for guests, as well as a restaurant where you can taste many local specialties. The Lavinum farmhouse is an enchanting place to have lunch, dinner, organize an event and stay for holidays or a romantic weekend for two in the Phlegraean area!

(Day) trips

In addition to being an ideal starting point for visiting the Phlegraean Fields, a few hundred meters from the farmhouse is the Torregaveta station of the Cumana railway, with which you can easily reach the center of Naples and admire all its wonders. The beautiful islands of Procida and Ischia are also very easily accessible from the port of Pozzuoli or, during the summer months, directly from Monte di Procida. Procida, a tiny island in the Bay of Naples, was put on the map last year when it was awarded Italy's Capital of Culture for 2022. The Island of Capri, The Vesuvius, Pompei, and the Amalfi coast are also great possibilities to explore.

For the weekend of June 3 and 4, there will be offerings of a gentle vinyasa yoga session on Friday morning from 10-11 AM, a yin yoga session on Friday evening 7-8 PM, and a gentle vinyasa yoga session on Saturday morning 10-11 AM.

June 3, 2022

Friday morning 10-11am: gentle vinyasa yoga

 

This vinyasa yoga class is an accessible all-round yoga class that is suitable for all levels based on a theme. With: breathing exercises, sun salutations, balance postures and a final meditation.

 

Your body will feel more energetic, your mind calmer and clearer: you will be more balanced after yoga.

 

Delve into the three limbs of yoga in this special class. Expect breathing (pranayama) to begin the class, followed by a heart-opening sequence of poses in a combination of strength and mobility, after which we will stretch deeper to revitalize the tissues of our body (asana). The mindfulness closing meditation will bring you into a state of deep peace and clarity (dhyana).

 

The Moon phase on June 3, 2022 is a Waxing Crescent. As the moon begins to wax (grow), we are given a boost of fresh energy and you may notice that your mood begins to lift too. It’s time to up the tempo of your physical practice through flowing vinyasa. Use your energy wisely and enjoy the strength that the practice ignites.

Friday evening 7-8 pm: Yin yoga

 

Yin Yoga is a relaxing, slow style of yoga practice that incorporates the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, with asanas (postures) held longer than other styles. Yin Yoga poses apply moderate tension to the body's connective tissues — the tendons, fasciae, and ligaments — with the aim of increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility. It is a more meditative approach to yoga.

 

This practice will help you transition from the day to the evening: The stretch will leave your body feeling relaxed, the calmness of the exercise will help you organize and calm your thoughts. A good preparation for a nice, relaxed evening and a good night's sleep!

 

In this yin yoga practice we will start to quiet down so you can listen to your own inner voice, wisdom, and set your intentions with mindfulness and integrity. This can boost the strength of your intentions.
